29.10.2007 Professional implementation of e-commerce - Sanyo now online

At www.sanyofashionhouse.com another e-commerce platform made by Media Ambassador was launched. This website designed for the demanding U.S. market was made with ColdFusion technology for the company EcommercePartners.

In addition to the standard functionality of an online store available in our e-commerce platform, some additions were implemented for this project. These include: better presentation of product photos through the use of multiple thumbnails which change dynamically with mouseover, wishlists, and a store locator.

Sanyo is the top manufacturer of outdoor clothing and jackets - a modern company, implementing innovative solutions to meet the expectations of the most demanding customers. This tendency is visible for example in finding newer and better materials, and environmentally friendly production processes.

Sanyo products are sold in exclusive shops in the United States and Canada. The Sanyo brand includes among other lines the Sanyo Collection, Sanyo Outerwear and Sanyo Lux Wool Collection. Each of them is designed for a specific market segment - from newly hired businessmen to senior executives.

The company Sanyo New York was founded in 1978 by the Tokyo firm Sanyo Shokai, who decided to go with its products on the American market. Sanyo Shokai is one of the largest clothing companies in Japan, with a long history reaching back to 1943. In 1986, it became the first Japanese company in history to launch its own production plant in the U.S. - in Oneonta, NY.
